A Quiet Place
I envisioned Aeroplano as a place where one could escape, get rid of the excessive,
focus on the essential, and simply enjoy…
It was necessary to bring everything together in one quiet place.

It all started with coffee…
Every day of mine begins with coffee, and every day I need coffee that doesn’t just energize but brings color, depth, and sets the tone for the day.
That’s why coffee needs to be diverse and of the highest quality, which means working with different roasters from different countries.
Relying on just our beans isn’t enough — so we select the best from the best.
My People
I don’t like crowds or meaningless conversations, but I can’t live without people…
All my inspiration comes from people who are passionate, who create and love.
I adore those who brew pour-overs and espressos, passionately sharing their stories, those who come for their shot of joy before rushing off, or who stay with a favorite book and a Chemex for the entire day.
Stockholm Library
Nothing organizes thoughts and brings a sense of coziness like natural colors, organic materials, and soft, warm light — it creates a quiet Scandinavian library vibe.
That’s exactly what I envisioned: I’ll make a library, and if no one shows up when we open, I’ll happily sit there reading a book under the light of a desk lamp or quietly working on my computer.
Danish Breakfast
One day, when I first made it to Copenhagen in search of new experiences and coffee adventures, I was struck by the perfect simplicity — both in appearance and taste — of this combination: fresh bread, cheese, butter, homemade jam, and a perfectly boiled egg. I’ve never been able to part with it since.
Aeroplano
“Aeroplano” is a pure allegory of something free, light, moving through space (and maybe time), bringing new experiences and flavors…
There’s no direct connection to aviation, except for the fact that I love traveling the world and bringing back something truly special for myself and our guests — new impressions and new coffee.
Dreamer
I envisioned Aeroplan in 2018, in Moscow, and it turned out exactly as I had imagined.
It was my idealistic dream — to create something that would be part of a vast, open world, bringing people everyday joy, no matter where it was recreated.
In September 2023, we opened Aeroplano in Barcelona. And every guest who thanks us for this coffee and atmosphere gives me the strength to dream again and move forward.
